Brisbane Vitality Clinic – Biomesotherapy & Biopuncture

What Is Biopuncture or Biomesotherapy?

One of the most exciting treatments for pain management the Brisbane Vitality Clinic offers is Biopuncture or Biomesotherapy.

In this alternative therapy, highly specific body locations are injected with a small quantity of sterile saline solution (which is the same as the body's fluid composition). Oral homeopathic medicines are given simultaneously with the biopuncture, depending upon which organ or tissue requires treatment.

Unlike regular pain injections, Biopuncture Injections are very shallow - generally only just under the skin or into muscle, with needles of a similar thickness to an acupuncture needle. Only very small quantities are injected at any time, which means there is very little pain.

An average treatment may involve somewhere from between 3 to 10 injections in different parts of the body.

Our practitioners are qualified in the correct injection technique, and appropriate infectious precautions with disposable one-time needles, which means your health is safe.

How Does Biopuncture Work?

It appears that biopuncture acts like an accelerator to your body's natural healing process, stimulating your immune system, and regulating your inflammatory processes and neuro-endocrine system.

Biopuncture has been shown to be particularly effective in treating:

Back pain
Ankle pain/restriction
Knee pain/restriction
Shoulder Pain
Neck pain
Sciatica
Frozen shoulder
Achilles' tendonitis
Sports injury's
Muscle strains
Arthritic pain

Who can use Biopuncture?

Biopuncture is a great treatment for those people who have tried conventional medicine but have had no success, for those who have had to stop conventional treatments due to side effects, or for those who prefer alternative therapies to treat injuries. You can also use Biopuncture in conjunction with existing treatments if you prefer.

When is Biopuncture not appropriate?

While a very effective natural therapy, Biopuncture used by itself is not appropriate for serious or life threatening illnesses or disorders. It is also not appropriate for depression or other mental disorders, if you are needle phobic or if your immune system is impaired. You also cannot use Biopuncture if you are on any blood thinning medication or if you have impaired blood coagulation.
